The Love to Dream swaddle allows babies to maintain their preferred natural sleep position while still providing the security and comfort of being swaddled. Instead of keeping arms tucked down by their sides, this swaddle features little “wings” that cradle the arms in an upward positionFor babies who seem to fight against having their arms restricted, this can be a game-changer.

It’s worth noting that the arms up position isn’t

We used this love to dream swaddle with our baby. While he did not particularly enjoy it, it was given by a friend who swore by it! It was very easy to put on, just slip him in and zip up. Diaper changes were easy, because it was an easy zip and slip off, change diaper and then zip back up. The sizing seemed true to size. The fabric was soft, with a gentle stretch; enough stretch for him to wiggle around but not too much that it felt unsafe. I am giving 4 stars, because I see how amazing this may be (especially for babies who need their hands by their face), but can’t give it 5 stars due to my son not liking it. He preferred swaddles that are more snug and this one had more wiggle room.
I wish that this swaddle would include an band, similar to the Halo Sleepsack swaddle. That way you can wrap up their middle to feel snug and secure, but still have the option to have their hands up.

When we initially brought the babies home, my husband would swaddle them like they did in the hospital, but we noticed that by morning, the babies had their arms out. So, we bought Velcro swaddles, which were a struggle to put on, loud to remove, and inconvenient for diaper changes. Plus, the babies still wanted their arms up by their heads and inevitably wriggled them out by morning.

That’s when I discovered the Love to Dream Swaddle Up (Step 1). These were a game changer because they are designed for arms-up sleeping, matching what our babies naturally wanted. Transitioning to these was seamless and they worked perfectly for us. 10/10.

As the babies grew, they transitioned from wanting their arms up to having their hands free. Thankfully, the Love to Dream product line supports sleep milestones in steps. We moved to the Swaddle Up Transition Bag, which was another 10/10. Not only can these keep arms up, but they also unzip at the arms for versatility, allowing us to gradually transition to arms out.

Both swaddles feature two-way zippers, high-quality stretchy fabrics, cute designs, and a snug fit where needed (chest/tummy) while being hip-healthy. I appreciated the construction quality, never worrying about zipper safety. My only minor gripe is the center zip design, which sometimes bunched up, pulling their pacifier out.

Overall, these swaddles transformed our sleep routine and made transitions smooth and easy.
