About Swaddle Schools
Chief Swaddle Officer, Rebecca
Growing up in England, I always knew I wanted to work with families. After earning my degree in child development, my journey took an unexpected turn when my husband and I moved to Brazil in 2001 with just four suitcases and a one-year plan. Four years later, we left with boxes of memories and two little ones in tow! After a brief return to England, we eventually settled in Seattle—and I’m never moving again!
When my children were young and my husband was working long hours as a flight test engineer, I started my own business helping families navigate the beautiful chaos of parenting. What began as general family support quickly evolved into specialized sleep consulting when I realized how many struggles stemmed from exhaustion. Over the past 17 years, I’ve worked with hundreds of families worldwide, developing gentle approaches to help children (and parents!) get the rest they need.
But here’s what I kept hearing: “Which swaddle should I use?” “Are expensive swaddles worth it?” “My baby hates being swaddled—what am I doing wrong?” New and expectant parents were overwhelmed by the endless swaddle options, conflicting reviews, and marketing claims. They needed what I wished existed when I was starting out—unbiased, expert guidance.
That’s why I created Swaddle School: the Consumer Reports for swaddles. We combine real parent testing with expert reviews from our team of occupational therapists, physical therapists, lactation consultants, and child development specialists. I personally test every swaddle alongside our parent volunteers because I believe you deserve honest, thorough information to make the best choice for your family.
At Swaddle School, we cut through the marketing noise to help you find the perfect swaddle for your little one—because every baby deserves a good night’s sleep, and every parent deserves peace of mind.
