Getting into the swaddle
REVIEW
The Woombie takes a simple approach to swaddling with its zippered design. Instead of wrapping and tucking fabric, you simply place your baby inside and zip them up. Your little one’s arms can stay comfortably by their sides or in the natural “hands to heart” position that many babies prefer.
One thing we appreciate about Woombie is their range of TOG ratings. They offer 0.2 TOG for warmer weather, 1 TOG for moderate…

I have tried three different variations of the Woombie swaddle: the Woombie Air, the Woombie Convertible with vent, and the Woombie Grow With Me. I really liked the Woombie Air as the shape of the swaddle kept my baby snug on top but room for their legs at the bottom, while the vent at the chest helped regulate their temperature, especially during the summer. The Convertible and Grow With Me were great in theory – multiple uses out of the same swaddle, as you could put their arms out once baby showed signs of rolling, or you could unzip the bottom to extend the length once baby grew taller – however those special features fell short. The arm slots are awkwardly placed, causing the shoulder fabric and zipper to bunch up towards their mouth/nose. And the extra fabric at the legs bothered my baby when tucked in, plus it was only accessible by unzipping the sides completely, which doesn’t work if your baby is thin but tall, because it will no longer keep the sides snug. Therefore, I would only recommend the original Woombie Swaddle (Air version if you would like the vent feature). It’s mid-tier when it comes to price and quality, but it was a good enough option for that age, with the real selling point being the shape and fit (at least for my baby).
